Since I started studying plant biotechnology, I´ve been interested in how one can use tissue culture and genetic engineering techniques to develop new varieties with new or improved characteristics. In the past few years, I´ve worked with species like Pistacia vera or Dionaea muscipula (Venus flytrap).
