Estefanía Vidaurre

I have always been interested in molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry; with a particular focus on elucidating genetic and proteomic mechanisms of model organisms to comprehend more complex ones. In the lab, our endeavour is to understand protein complexes related to the kinase Target Of Rapamycin (TOR), such as the R2TP/PFDL and TTT complexes, with their interactions and cellular dynamics during stress conditions in Arabidopsis thaliana. These complexes and some of their mechanisms are conserved across eukaryotes and are crucial for the regulation of the variations in cellular energetic state caused by stress.
