Andrea Esgueva
My interest in plant molecular biology has led me to investigate the mechanisms that control plant development and physiology. The main focus of my current research is to further understand the establishment of the circadian clock in Arabidopsis thaliana. Specifically, this project aims to uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying light perception and how these signals affect core proteins of the central oscillator, such as GIGANTEA (GI), in the regulation of the circadian rhythm.
